Money Blogger Theme is Back
Just a quick post. Sorry for the often change of design. Last week, I have just again change design again due to some reason like problem with IE6. After changing design, I have noticed some effect in my Adsense CTR and it is not actually a good effect but instead a bad effect.
Just awhile ago, you might have noticed that my blog was under maintenance. I edited the Money Blogger theme and what you are currently seeing now is the result of it. If you notice, It looks like the layout of JohnCow. I actually base it to his layout. This is actually an accident because I am experimenting with the banner ad just beside the logo then I gradually came up with this.
So how do you like it? Is it nice to be back? Sorry again, especially Yan, I know you are already irritated with me because of often changing design. I know this might affect my blog in some points but I really have to do this for monetization purposes.
I think the layout is great. It might have the same layout but I think your blog is not as annoying a John Cow.
I love their content but I find it to busy but thats my opinion.

I like this layout much better than you last one. I haven’t been reading your blog for a long time, but think you made a definate step in the right direction.
Maybe in your middle column, you could have featured or best articles going down. I have been talking to some people about how that increases the visitation of older post on your site by leaving them visible for longer periods of time.
I don’t know, just trying to give you something useful to move forward.
Also, don’t worry about Yan, he is always cutting people about their blogging decisions. He cut me last week. LOL! Just messing with Yan, he always provides you with useful criticism which is great if you are looking to improve.

Good choice of coming back to old theme if it’s for a CTR increase. I do have the same question as Freddie…How much money do you make through Adsense on a MMO blog? My experience isn’t really good with Adsense on MMO compared to my other websites.

@Freddie & @Ben - frogstr.com: I actually earn in Adsense through my seo posts here in my blog. I sometimes blog about high traffic keywords in Google like adult, mispelled keywords, etc etc. Adsense is not actuallyrecommended for webmaster or blogger targeted keywords. It is because we all know that they don’t click on Google Ads
LOL…. no worry, buddy..I just thought you shouldn’t keep changing it to confuse your readers but then at the end of the day, you know what’s good for you and your blog.

I think you are pretty much a perfectionist…if you do have a budget you should go for a custom theme..

Site looks good. I mean it is a little busy for my tastes in general, but I don’t find it to busy or offensive so you are in good shape.
Yan is right as usual. A custom theme would do you great, so you could have everything just right.
Be sure to take your time and walk into that decision slowly because you don’t want to have keep going back and getting it redesigned.
i would suggest getting a notebook for your custom theme, write, draw, and layout what you want, so when you are ready you can just move forward.
